The problem with leaning on fences is that the base of the most fences are separated from what you are riding on – like maybe there is a row of grass at the bottom of the fence but your wheel is on cement a little further away – perhaps the pole is bolted to a cement base sticking out of the ground.
Splashpads with no water (and kids enjoying the water) and their random poles sticking out of the cement offer many advantages to the new rider!
